YouTube is a platform that is specified for making money nowadays. Content creators make their channels on the app and they have a large amount of community who are willing to watch the content. It has visitors and viewers from all around the world. Not only it is providing us with a lot of entertainment but also much knowledge is imparted by these youtubers. With views, likes, subscribers and shares these content creators get their share of the hard work that they are putting in making those videos in the form of money. Specifically, the buying YouTube video views help them a lot in growing their channels.
There is a problem that has been evoked nowadays with the ‘add to’ button not working on the YouTube app. Add to button is for the viewers who want to add the video in the playlist to watch it again and again. This again and again watching of the video would promote the channel and as well as benefit the content creator. This also benefits the viewer as he or she won’t have to search for the video again and just play it from the playlist. The videos can be downloaded in the playlist and can be watched later in the area where there is no connection to the internet.
The add to button is not working on YouTube and in this article, I am going to tell you how to make it work by following some of the solutions. Try them out and see which one suits you:
- The first thing that you can do is go to the play store and search YouTube over there. You have already installed it so it would give you two options; update and open. Most of the users do not update the apps regularly so click on the update and wait for the update to be finished. After the update is finished do not open the app right away, restart your phone and then open the app. After doing this there is a 90% chance that your problem would be fixed.
- If the problem is still not fixed then go to your settings of the phone and search for ‘apps’ there. After clicking the apps go to YouTube. After selecting YouTube, you would get two options; force start and disable. What I prefer doing first is force start the app, restart your phone and try adding to the playlist again. This is the shortcut fix and the problem would no longer exist.
- If the problem of adding the video to your playlist still exists go to the settings again and disable the YouTube app for some time. Weight for 2 minutes and then enable the app. Now restart your phone and try to add the video to the playlist again.
After applying these fixes, one of them would most probably solve the add to playlist problem that you have been seeing on your app. If the problem is still not solved then maybe YouTube is working on its own coding and updates. Wait for one or two days and again apply these fixes. The result would most probably be positive.
